Have you read any good book lately??

At the moment, i'm reading a book called "WOMEN ARE FROM VENUS and MEN ARE FROM MARS". A Great book, to be read by all to understand the opposite sex, especially when the opposite sex is our spouses. They are from the littlest thing to the biggest attributes of men and women. I will surely write about it once i finished reading it...soon, I hope!

Then it will be other books waiting in my pipeline this month...

1. The Leader in Me by Steven R. Covey

2. The Palestinian Walks

I love to imagine myself with a good book, on a hammock by the beach...aarhhhh....what a great feeling.... Oh don't forget the wind breezing.....coconut trees waving.......i can go on and on and on.....

InsyaAllah...we'll be heading to Trengganu for the beach in March.....

Perak.....moral of the story...

It's been few days since the havoc in Perak. I have not been in the mood to write anything about it in my little blog here.

It's a mixed feelings of anger, frustration, surprise, awed, and all other feelings, which most of them are negative. I searched for the positive lessons to grab from it all.

I symphatize Datuk Nizar for having to face this injustice,
I symphatize the people of Perak for the democracy robbed from them,
I symphatize the Pakatan Rakyat leaders for the manner that BN overtook power from them....

BUT, I HAVE NEVER FELT THE MOST PITY .....

to all the people in BN who are so in love with POWER and MONEY!! If only they realized that this life here on earth is just a big drama before we reach the ultimate life in Hereafter! Allah has promised us in the Quran, that he will surely gives all that you desires if the earthly life that you choose...but Jahannam is your place in Hereafter! So, choose wisely of the options.

I pray that Allah bestow upon all of us Hidayah, for us to come back to Allah and Rasulullah saw.

Enjoying all the classes...

It's never too old to study...right! I have few classes under my belt right now, which i must say...I'm enjoying every moment of it.

I have my Kelas Ugama with Ustaz Abdul Muen, Learning Arabic, also with him and my Learning Disabilities in Children Diploma in KL. I will also be starting my CCNA certification class, next week. They will surely keep me very busy till the end of the year, at least...insyaAllah.

You know, one can never have enough of information or "pengisian" in her lifetime. Its a journey. The more you learn, the more you realize that there's so much more that you don't know. But, once you know it, you must practice them in your life, or else it become useless...like the saying "ILMU TANPA AMAL IS NOTHING..!" Thats something that I'm afraid of. I pray to Allah, that He gives me the courage and strength to practice all the knowledge I was informed with. Plus, to pass them to my children, families, relatives and friends.

As for technical knowledge and certifications, i hope it will assist me in understanding my job better, thus to perform and produce effectively.

So...u gals and guys out there...

GO TO THE CLASSES...KULIAH MAGHRIB, CERAMAH and OTHER forms of "pengisian".

You will sure enjoy the benefits.

Abu Saif in Wangsa Maju

Yesterday, after going thru the heavy rain and jam, i arrived just on time before the end of 'waktu' Maghrib, in Surau Al Naim, Wangsa Maju. I wanted to listen to the kuliyah maghrib by Abu Saif. Alhamdulillah, Allah allows me to be his listener.....

Abu Saif, was everything that I had imagined, from reading his postings in his blog...SAIFULISLAM.COM. A very energetic, straight to the point ustaz, whom i found my fond acceptance. I like the way he thinks and express it in writing. So, yesterday was the first time seeing him in-person. InsyaAllah..... i would like to attend more of his kuliyah.

A lot of information was obtained during the kuliyah, where he talked about history of the OTTOMAN EMPIRE. I have one nothing but a feeling of shame, that I do not know the important history, that had shaped what Muslims are now. All muslims must learn the sirah of Rasulullah saw and the history of Islam and its empires.

Can we change the education system, or even the syllabus of Sejarah subject in school??? Loooonggg way to go huh!

I have one conclusion to make from the kuliyah in the broader term....

HISTORY SHAPED A PERSON AND ITS CULTURE, BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY, IT SHOULD BE A LESSON FOR A PERSON TO BE BETTER IN THE FUTURE....WITH USAHA, DOA AND TAWAKAL TO ALLAH.....

My baby..BATRISYIA is 6 years young on 20th Dec 08...

It's like writing a belated birthday card..... Alhamdulillah, Batrisyia is 6 years young.

We had fun getting her present and a day out at KLCC. She wanted a play-crown and a treat at California Kitchen. It was nice that the staff in CK, sang Happy B'day to her and a little feast of ice-cream with a candle on top. Thank u guys....

Since it was princess-like birthday for her, no one is supposed to scold or make her angry on that day...but it turned out that she actually used the opportunity to bully her sisters, amin and me.....!!! Urgh!!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MY DEAR CACA........WE LUV YA SOOOOOO MUCH!

A year of 1430H / 2009

Salam Maal Hijrah and Happy New Year 2009....!! I have mixed feelings and several interpretation of a "happy" new year. I'm all thankful, happy, sad, frustrated, awed, angry, glad, content plus all other feelings come 2009.

1. I thank Allah that I'm still alive to be nearer to Him.
2. I thank Allah for allowing me to continue taking care or my mom and children.
3. I am happy that my gals are settled down in school, after the transferring and all.
4. BUT...I"M SO VERY SAD AND ANGRY FOR WHAT IS HAPPENING TO OUR BROTHERS AND SISTERS IN PALESTINE...I'm so helpless....

Ya Allah! May U protect them from the Zionist regime and bestowed them great strength and courage....Ameen!

What if it's us in Malaysia that Allah test with what happened in Palestine......??? I can't even imagine!!

Allahuakbar!!!!
